Midfielder linked with Spurs makes £40m move to Premier League side

However, the midfielder has instead completed a permanent deal with the Foxes on a four-year deal for a club record £40 million (BBC).

The 22-year-old completed his medical yesterday and was announced as a permanent player for Brendan Rodgers’ side during the evening.

Tielemans was linked with a move to Spurs and Manchester United this summer but both clubs have explored different options since the Belgian was happy to return to Leicester. (The Sun).

The midfielder featured on 13 occasions for the Foxes last season in which he bagged three goals and recorded four assists. (WhoScored).

Spurs Web Opinion:

Tielemans has shown he can cut it in the short spell he has had in the Premier League, would he have been a good signing for Spurs? Yes, however, after signing Tanguy Ndombele it would be hard to see where the Belgian would fit in this current squad.
