‘Start passing to Scarlett’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ first half against NS Mura

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the first half performance against NS Moura where they currently lead 2-0.

Mura’s first European group stage encounter ended in a 0-2 defeat at home to Vitesse, while Spurs had to come from behind to draw 2-2 at Rennes.

Dele Alli broke the deadlock after just three minutes when he won a penalty and converted it himself.

Giovani Lo Celso doubled the lead five minutes later when he drove inside the left hand-side of the box and unleashed a powerful effort high into the roof of the net.

Mura are facing English opposition in a UEFA fixture for the first time, Tottenham are unbeaten against Slovenian clubs (W2 D1), their one home fixture bringing a 3-1 victory over Maribor at White Hart Lane home in the 2012/13 UEFA Europa League, courtesy of a Jermain Defoe hat-trick.
