Tottenham’s under-18s overcame Southampton’s under-18s 3-1 last evening in what was the first ever match to be held at Tottenham’s new 62,062-capacity stadium.
The match was the first of two test events which will be held this month, before the grand opening on the 3rd of April when Spurs welcome Crystal Palace to the venue.
It was an accomplished performance by the under-18s with the likes of Armando Shashoua, Oliver Skipp and Jneil Lloyd Bennett standing out for their displays.
Skipp, in particular, looked really assured in possession and controlled the midfield completely. In fact, everything that Spurs did went through the 18-year-old.
The midfielder who has been involved in first-team action this season showed why he is so highly rated at the club. Spurs fans were certainly left impressed by how composed Winks was on the ball.
Here’s how some fans reacted to his display yesterday evening

I’m not overreacting because it’s against under 18s but Skipp has been quality all game

I thought Skipp looked a class apart, both physically and his decision making
Hugely impressed by Cirkin at left back too

Impressed with Oliver Skipp today, not just performance but how he conducted himself at the final whistle. No Billy Big Bollocks, just walked off and signed shirts out the limelight, #Mykindoffplayer #SpursNewStadium @SpursOfficial #oneofourown #COYS #THFC #SpursNewStadium
