Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to reports this evening which claim that the club are in advanced talks with Paulo Fonseca to become the new head coach.
Fonseca is said to be the incoming sporting director Fabio Paratici’s first choice to take over in North London (The Athletic).
The pair are reported to have held talks in Italy this week ahead of Paratici flying to London where he will be formally announced in his new role, following his recent departure from Juventus.
Spurs have turned to the former Portuguese international after previously holding discussions with both Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte.
It is said that Spurs did make contact with Fonseca at the start of their managerial search, but he has since moved up the pecking order.
