A flood of players flock to show support for Tottenham man after latest blow 

Almost the entirety of the Tottenham squad have come out in support of Ryan Sessegnon after the youngster opened up on his recent injury on social media.

Sessegnon has had to have an operation on his right hamstring, just six months on from having gone under the knife to fix his other hamstring, with the left-back now expected to be out of action for 10 to 12 weeks (Alasdair Gold).

The 23-year-old took to social media on Monday to admit that he was distraught when he found out the news, given how hard to worked to get back to full fitness.

However, the former Fulham man vowed to keep his head down and put in the hard work necessary. He also reminded some supporters to watch what they say online, admitting that he has been hurt by some of the comments.

Many of Sessegnon’s teammates have now expressed their sympathy to the full-back and wished him a speedy recovery.

The likes of Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Manor Solomon, James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Troy Parrott, Djed Spence and Bryan Gil all sent a message of support to their teammate on Instagram.

In addition, former Tottenham stars, Steven Bergwijn, Matt Doherty, and Kyle Walker-Peters, were also among those to wish Sessegnon a quick recovery.
