‘A good man’ – Ryan Mason opens up on relationship with Daniel Levy

Tottenham interim head coach, Ryan Mason had plenty of nice words to say about the club chairman, Daniel Levy in his press conference this morning.

Mason claimed that Levy was a good man and cared a lot about Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, while adding that he has always had a good relationship with him.

Of course, Ryan Mason has been tied to the North London club ever since he was a young lad coming through the academy system.

He eventually broke into the first-team and was a regular fixture for a couple of seasons before moving on to Hull City in search of regular football.

When his career was suddenly ended by a horror head injury, Mason was welcomed back to Tottenham by Levy and co as a youth coach in the academy.

From there, he was promoted to head of player development and eventually interim head coach after Jose Mourinho was sacked.

Mason had this to say on Levy (Football London): “I’ve always had a good relationship with the chairman. He’s given me an opportunity to lead this football club. He’s a good man and he cares about this football club.”
