It is quite possible that they could have a new head coach when they return, with reports indicating that the Italian is expected to be asked to pack his bags this week (Telegraph).

Ben Davies and Richarlison had to pull out of Wales’ and Brazil’s squads respectively after coming off with injuries in the first half of Tottenham’s 3-3 draw against Southampton.

However, Bryan Gil and Emerson Royal have both been recalled into the Spain and Brazil squads in light of their improved displays recently while Fraser Forster is back in the England squad, replacing the injured Nick Pope.

Spurs Web Opinion

Most of these players will be happy to get away from the toxic atmosphere at Tottenham for a change, given how depressing the last few weeks have been.

It is safe to say that many of them will be hoping that Conte is no longer in charge when they return to Hotspur Way next week.
