“A move to Spurs would be interesting”

Loic Remy has asked Nice to lower their valuation in order for him to join Tottenham Hotspur.

The 23-year-old is valued at £14million by the French club, which Spurs are refusing to pay – and rightly so in our opinion.

According to reports, Spurs scouts travelled to France at the weekend and watched the player in action. He recently travelled to Stoke City to visit the training ground, but has decided that it isn’t the right move for him.

“A move to Spurs would be interesting,” Remy told L’Equipe.

“Stoke is not the move that I want. Nice is in real need of money and it should be adaptable with the price to help sell me.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. If stoke were interested in signinig him then He must be good. Sign Him quick before Wigan get Him.
Come on Spurs lets get serious!

  2. Hmmm. Wigan signed Palacios and Valencia, who are now at Spurs and Man U respectively…. Sometimes players go under the radar or need to prove themselves.

  3. Remy is behind the likes of Djbril Cisse and Sidney Govou in the French side and they are hardly great players. £14mill is a joke, any more than £8mill is far too much of a gamble.

  4. Agreed that 14m is pushing it. But 10m may work. He just finished his 2nd senior season, so he is going to be behind other attacking players in the French team
