Tottenham have a lot to play for in the final few games of the season, as they are still alive in the Champions League, and find themselves with work to do to finish in the top 4 in the Premier League.
Spurs have rediscovered form after moving into their new stadium, having beaten Crystal Palace and Manchester City in successive games. So it looks like the Lillywhites could finish the season strongly.
However, they will have to cope without their star striker Harry Kane as the striker damaged ligaments in his left ankle after going in for a challenge against Fabian Delph on Tuesday.
It is likely that Pochettino’s men would have to make do without Kane till the end of the season.
Spurs, of course, have demonstrated on several occasions that they can cope without the England captain, most recently when they went on a great run when Kane was unavailable during parts of January and February.
Pochettino was asked if Tottenham’s superior win percentage without Kane in the team (won 5 out of 7 recently) indicates that the team can actually play well without their talisman.
The Argentine rubbished the statistic and said that it was obvious that the team was going to miss Kane as he was one of the best in the world.
