Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has shared his prediction ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Newcastle United.
Spurs welcome the high-flying Magpies to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Eddie Howe’s side unbeaten in their last six top-flight outings and are just five points behind their opponents in the table.
Antonio Conte’s side are looking to get back on track following the lacklustre display which was witnessed in Wednesday night’s defeat at Manchester United.
Tottenham will be once again without the services of Richarlison (calf) and Dejan Kulusevski (hamstring), while Emerson Royal is once again available for selection after serving a three-match suspension following his red card at Arsenal (Spurs official).
Agbonlahor has tipped Newcastle to take the game to Tottenham, however, believes the north Londoners will come out on top and return to winning ways.
He told talkSPORT Edge‘s Instagram account: “I think this will be a thriller. Newcastle will go for Spurs and they won’t sit back. I think it will be a cracker but I’m going to go 2-1 to Spurs.”

Spurs allowed United to pin them back in their own half and they looked short of ideas, especially in midfield with Hojbjerg, Bissouma and Bentancur all struggling to impose themselves on the game.
