A throw back to Harry Kane’s world-beating stats of 2017

Tottenham’s Harry Kane has now firmly established himself as one of the very best in his position in world football.

The Spurs striker has consistently performed at the highest level, scoring an unholy number of goals for club and country while doing so.

For five consecutive seasons, the forward outscored his total from the previous year, however, it may be difficult for him to ever top his 2017 statistics.

This was the year in which Kane finished as top European goal scorer, above the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.

He bagged an insane 56 goals in 52 games for club and country, as well as breaking the record for most Premier League goals in a calendar year.

In doing so, he also grabbed six hattricks that year, despite there only being 12 in total in the Prem in 2017.

He also became the first player to score back to back hattricks in the Premier League.

Top that in 2019, Kane?
