Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to Mauricio Pochettino’s comments on the legacy which he left at the club (Sky Sports).
Pochettino helped to transform the club’s fortunes on the field after helping the North London outfit to four successive top four finishes in the Premier League along with a first appearance in the final of the Champions League.
Despite the progression, the Argentine was unable to help the club to end their long wait for a trophy which last came in 2008 when Juande Ramos guided his side to a League Cup victory against Chelsea.
After suffering a poor start to the new season in which the club found themselves in the unfamiliar position of fourteenth in the table, Daniel Levy took the decision to end Pochettino’s fourth-and-a-half year spell and replace him with Jose Mourinho.
Pochettino claimed he was proud of what he achieved during his time in North London where he insisted that the transition of becoming Champions League regulars and finishing above Arsenal along with the move into the new stadium.
Some fans believe that Pochettino’s failure to win a trophy has tarnished his reputation.
He’s gotta change that attitude about trophies if he wants to survive past 18 months in any other elite club.

I love Poch but “look at our stadium though” & “the training ground is the best in the world” is wearing thin.

Poch couldn’t win a trophy with this team btw, should have won a league title at least. Not sure why Man Utd fans have so much hope that he’ll do wonders with their squad. pic.twitter.com/Ou2GeMVALk
