Report: ‘Above all Tottenham’ – Paratici may offer swap deal to pay for midfielder

InterLive have reported that Marcelo Brozovic has admirers in the Premier League, with Tottenham showing more interest than any other. 

This comes after Corriere dello Sport reported earlier this year that Brozovic was set to leave Inter Milan in the summer and had already received an offer from Spurs (27/02/23 – via CalcioMercato).

InterLive have now confirmed that an exit is possible for Brozovic once the season comes to a close, and Fabio Paratici is currently leading Tottenham’s interest.

Therefore, it becomes a question of whether the managing director of football remains with the North London club, and if he does, the report claims he may ‘return to the assault’ for Brozovic.

Inter Live even state that Tanguy Ndombele could be offered as a part of the deal if he returns from Napoli at the end of the season.

If Inter are not interested in the Frenchman, Calciomercato.it believe Brozovic will cost around €40m in the summer (£35.2m).

Spurs Web Opinion:

I feel like this is not the kind of midfielder Tottenham need this summer, with Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Skipp and Sarr already at the club – plus Ndombele, Lo Celso, and Winks out on loan.

I would much prefer a James Maddison-type playmaker signing to improve the squad.
