Jermaine Jenas has singled Rodrigo Bentancur out for special praise following his performance against West Ham United.
Tottenham kept the pressure on north London rivals Arsenal by taking all three points against the Hammers with a 3-1 victory against the Hammers.
Jenas described the victory as a big result for Antonio Conte’s side as they looked to keep their hopes alive of a top four finish and securing Champions League qualification for next season.
The former Spurs midfielder took to Twitter after the result at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to describe Bentancur as an ‘absolute player’.
The Uruguay international was his usual industrious self in the middle of the park, looking comfortable in possession and prepared to roll up his sleeves and put in the effort defensively to stifle West Ham in midfield.
