AC Milan are interested in signing forgotten £27m Tottenham man after Man City twist

AC Milan have a Tottenham player near the top of their wishlist, but a January move will depend on one key factor.

We have already seen Brennan Johnson leave Spurs this month, and more outgoings appear on the cards over the coming weeks.

One of the players whose future appears to be up in the air is Radu Dragusin, who is reportedly keen on playing some football after nearly 12 months out with an ACL injury.

Sources have said that the centre-back is set for crunch talks with Thomas Frank over his Tottenham future soon, but one of his suitors have one concern about the defender.

Factor that will determine AC Milan’s move for Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin

Over the last few weeks, we have heard that a whole host of Serie A clubs are watching Dragusin’s situation closely.

Among those is AC Milan, and the Rossoneri’s interest in the player has now been backed up by a new report in Corriere dello Sport.

The outlet says that Milan are prioritising improving their backline this month, and the Tottenham man is one of the names at the top of their wishlist.

The Serie A giants are ‘closely monitoring’ Dragusin, and it is revealed that a January move could depend on the club’s assessment of the 23-year-old’s current fitness levels.

Milan have identified two alternatives to Dragusin

It appears Milan have some doubts about the Spurs man’s fitness levels as Corriere assert that they have also identified two other alternatives.

The Italian club are thought to be big fans of Nathan Ake, who has been on their radar for two years and has emerged as a target due to his lack of game time at Manchester City. However, with Man City’s recent injury crisis, Ake will now likely be a first-choice option for the rest of the season.

Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-Jae is also an option liked at Milan, but there is an acknowledgement that he would cost more than the Spurs and City stars.
