Agent claims Milan interest Bale

A representative of Gareth Bale has claimed the Tottenham man would be interested in a move to AC Milan, should a move arise.

Bale has been linked with the Italian giants for a while now, and reports have suggested that Milan may ask for the left back to be included in a swap deal for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Huntelaar has not impressed the Milan club since his summer move from Real Madrid and reports have claimed Roman Pavlyuchenko will also be involved in a deal to bring the Dutchman to White Hart Lane.

Spurs were interested in Huntelaar in the summer, but were beaten to the punch by Milan and Redknapp would have to accomodate room in an already competitive strike-force. Pavlyuchenko would be the man offered as bait, whilst Milan’s long-standing interested in Bale may also help ease the deal along.

Agent Peppino Tirri has claimed there is no done deal currently, but believes Bale has what it takes to play for Milan and is only not in the Spurs first team because he is yet to regain full fitness.

“The lad has not yet recovered 100% and is not ready yet.

“But despite his young age, Gareth is ready for a difficult league like the Italian one.

“Moreover, he would very much like to come to Italy.”
