Agent claims ex-Spurs player will manage the team against West Ham

The news that Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked as Tottenham manager will still not have sunk in for many diehard Spurs fans, but the club must now look ahead to the future.

Pochettino was sacked after five and a half years in North London after taking just 14 points from a possible 36 in the league this season.

With the manager position vacant, Daniel Levy looked to get a new face into the hot seat as quickly as possible, despite not having to search for a new gaffer in over half a decade.

He has now appointed Jose Mourinho until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Talent agent, Alex Segal, took to Twitter to predict that Jose Mourinho would be announced as Tottenham manager today some time.

However, he also added that the Special One will not manage the team for the upcoming fixture against West Ham, which is fast approaching this weekend.

Instead, U18 manager, Ryan Mason, will lead his boyhood side out in the London derby, despite being younger than many of the first-team players.
