Lautaro Martinez’s agent has insisted the striker is currently not thinking about leaving Inter Milan despite reported interest in the Argentine from the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal.
Inter are expecting a fight to keep hold of Martinez beyond the end of the season, with The Times reporting that financial problems could force the club into selling their prized asset.
The same report revealed that a sale could be sanctioned if a minimum bid of £60 million arrives their way, with Arsenal named as a majorly interested party.
The 24-year-old’s potential availability could also spell good news for Tottenham, with head coach Antonio Conte thought to have been keen on reuniting with him in North London this summer (Inter Live).
But despite rumours of Martinez departing the Serie A side, his agent Alejandro Camano has played down talk of an exit for his client and insists the Inter man is happy at the club.
Camano told Radio Colonia on the Como Te Va Show (03/05/22 – 16:30): “Sometimes the press talks about his possible transfer but he only thinks of Inter.
“We’re not looking for a negotiation to take him elsewhere. He’s happy at Inter, the city is wonderful. He’s only focussing on Inter.

“Lautaro is growing as a footballer. Let’s not forget that he is still 24 years old. He is already establishing himself as one of the best strikers on the international scene. A new generation of forwards is appearing, of which Lautaro is a part.”

Martinez would be a high-quality addition to the Tottenham squad considering they have lacked good options to have alongside Harry Kane.
However, the club may not direct a chunk of their funds in that direction as they have other fires to put out in different positions across the squad.
