The agent of rumoured Tottenham target Zeki Celik has admitted that the defender could leave Lille this summer should a sizeable offer arrive.
Lille’s model of buying talented young players and selling them on for a healthy profit, spearheaded by their former sporting director, Luis Campos, has been quite successful.
Having beaten Mauricio Pochettino’s Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title last season, it is likely that several of Lille’s stars will be attracting interest from clubs across the continent.
One of those is Celik, who has been a consistent performer for the club since arriving in the North of France in 2018.
The Turkish international has seemingly been on Tottenham’s radar for a long-time, having first been linked with a move to the club back in 2019.
L’Equipe have backed Spurs to reignite their interest in Celik this summer, suggesting that the North London club are eyeing the 24-year-old as a replacement for Serge Aurier.
Celik’s agent Fazil Ozdemir has now admitted that ‘big players’ are showing interest in his client.

When asked about the right-back’s future, he told Tuttomercatoweb: “He has interest from the big players in Europe, it’s true.
“Should a great offer arrive then we would sit down with Lille to talk about it. He was a key player for the title win.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Celik would be a decent signing but I would prefer us to pick up someone like Tariq Lamptey or Max Aarons, whose ceilings are arguably higher. It remains to be seen who we will target as Paratici’s arrival is likely to have dramatically changed the club’s transfer plans.
