Achraf Hakimi’s agent has now claimed that the defender is the best right-back in the world, along with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Hakimi’s two-year loan spell at Borussia Dortmund comes to end this summer and the right-back’s reputation has grown considerably during his time in Germany.
The defender has arguably taken his game up another level this season, managing seven assists and three goals in twenty-five Bundesliga outings (transfermarkt).
Bladi.net reported earlier this month that Tottenham were locked in a battle with their London rivals, Arsenal and Chelsea, for the 21-year-old’s signature this summer. AS revealed that Dortmund were keen on extending Hakimi’s stay at the Westfalenstadion.
The Moroccan international recently admitted that he is yet to make a decision over his future (CadenaSer via Goal).
The defender’s agent, Alejandro Camano, has now compared Hakimi with Alexander-Arnold and revealed that the full-back could stay at Real Madrid.
Camano told Sky Sports in Germany: “Achraf is the best right-back in the world together with Trent Alexander-Arnold. All the big teams in Europe want him and, of course, Real Madrid is one of them.”

Hakimi is a fabulous talent but he is nowhere near the best in the world as of yet. He certainly has a tremendous amount of pace to burn and is a constant threat going forward, but the youngster still has too many lapses in concentration to be considered a world-class defender.
