Agent: No offers from Sandro

Sandro’s agent has denied reports that there have been approaches from other clubs about the availability of the Spurs midfielder.

The Brazilian has impressed during his short spell at Tottenham and has forced his way into Harry Redknapp’s regular starting eleven.

“Reading the newspapers I read that many clubs are interested in Sandro, like Inter Milan, AC Milan, Roma and Real Madrid,” he told tuttomercatoweb.

“But I have not received any proposal and no one has talked to me.

“I am a bit worried, because no intermediary is entitled to speak on behalf of Sandro. My concern is that someone has spoken on behalf of Sandro, not being authorised to do so.

“Would Sandro like to play in the Italian Serie A? Yes, but for now he’s good for Tottenham.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Harry & Levy should be speaking to Sandro's agent to recruit more Brazians who are reasonably priced to fill in the gaps after the sale

  2. There is something really great about so many of our players being touted about, or being desirable for the top teams. It means that we have top players. Top players that perhaps our rivals are lacking. Not just one or two, Berb, Carrick, but many. This is our best team and squad of players we have had in a long long time.

Modric recognises the quality of players we have here and the he is among them, saying 'he can achieve everything he wants to achieve in football at tottenham'.

Sandro looks the real deal. He is a cut above Palacios and Jenas, just as Palacios was a cut above Zakora. Sandro could be our Essien. There are enough players at Spurs that are in Modric's and Bales bracket, or supporting players near enough, to keep them happy
