Agent reveals Tottenham are interested in signing his player this summer

Massimo Brambati has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing one of his clients, Franck Kessie from AC Milan (TuttoMercatoWeb).

The player’s agent revealed that the North London club were among those keen on the 24-year-old this summer.

Brambati claimed that AC Milan had made an error by letting Kessie’s contract run down, as it now has just 12 months remaining, adding that the player has all the power this summer.

He then went on to say that Tottenham, Inter Milan and one other unnamed Premier League club have shown interest in the midfielder.

The Ivory Coast international made 50 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 14 and setting up another six for AC Milan (TransferMarkt).

Brambati said: “Today, having a contract expiring in 2022 with an important player, one of Milan’s strongest, is a danger. Here is a basic error by the club.

“Now [Kessie] is the one who holds the knife by the handle and can decide what is best for him rather than the club.

“I know that in addition to Inter there are two Premier League teams interested in him, including Tottenham.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

Spurs need a midfielder who can chip in with regular goals and assists next season. Since Eriksen left and Dele Alli dropped off, the emphasis has been on Kane and Son and them alone. That simply must change.
