Agents of reported Spurs and Liverpool target hint he will not transfer until 2024

The agency representing rumoured Tottenham target Randal Kolo Muani, MDC Advisors, have revealed that the plan for the forward is to remain at Eintracht Frankfurt for one more year.

Kolo Muani has been on fire since his switch to Frankfurt in the summer, having scored eight times and provided 11 assists across all competitions so far in 2022-23 (Transfermarkt).

Unsurprisingly, the forward’s form at Deutsche Bank Park is thought to have caught the attention of multiple Premier League clubs, including Tottenham.

Foot Mercato reported last month that Kolo Muani was being eyed by both Spurs and Liverpool ahead of January, with the North London club alleged to be ‘very hot’ on the versatile attacker.

However, Sport 1 have now contacted the forward’s agency, MDC Advisors, who have suggested that their client is planning on staying put at Frankfurt for the time being.

The German publication quotes the agency as saying: “Our plan is for Randal Kolo Muani to stay in Frankfurt for at least another year. He feels very comfortable with Eintracht. Here Randal has the perfect location for his development.”

Meanwhile, the player himself said: “At Eintracht, I was shown the prospect very early on that I could gain match practice in a family environment and develop further.”

Sport 1 add that while a potential sale in January can never be completely ruled out, it would take a ‘crazy transfer offer’ for Frankfurt to part ways with Kolo Muani since his contract does not contain a release clause.

Spurs Web Opinion

Kolo Muani only arrived in Frankfurt in the summer and so, is unlikely to consider a move before spending at least a full season at the club.

The Bundesliga club will also be aware that the 24-year-old’s value is likely to continue increasing if he maintains his current form as he is contracted to the club until 2027. So, they will not be in a hurry to cash in on him.
