Alan Shearer describes Harry Kane’s performance with set of Emoji’s

Former striker Alan Shearer has taken to Twitter to praise Harry Kane after his display for England.

The Tottenham Hotspur forward bagged three goals in the match at Wembley which was the second hat-trick of his international career.

Kane became the first player to score 25+ goals in his first 40 appearances for the England men’s team since Gary Lineker (27 goals).

He got his first when he was ypically alert to open the scoring from Raheem Sterling’s cut-back and completed his hat-trick with two superb penalties in the second half.

Kane has scored eight penalties for England (excluding shoot-outs) – only Frank Lampard (nine) has netted more for the Three Lions.

He also played a pivotal role in Sterling’s goal, intercepting an opposition pass before charging forward and providing the assist to the Manchester City player.

After the match, Shearer posted a set of Emoji’s in reference to Kane’s hat-trick performance which keeps them top of Group A.
