Unsurprisingly, Alan Shearer has named Richarlison in his Team of the Week and spoke in glowing terms of the finish the Tottenham man produced for his second goal at Goodison Park.
Richarlison returned to haunt Everton on his return to Merseyside, with the forward netting a first-half brace to take his tally to nine goals in his last eight Premier League outgoings (90 min).
The two strikes displayed the confidence that is now coursing through the Brazilian’s veins as he produced a first-time finish with his left foot, sweeping the ball home into the back of the net after being picked out by Destiny Udogie before executing a beautifully curled finish into the top corner in the dying stages of the first half.
Unfortunately, the goals were not enough to give the Lilywhites all three points as the Toffees scored a stoppage-time equaliser to ensure the spoils were shared.

Richarlison makes Premier League Team of the Week
Shearer, who was no stranger to scoring from outside the box himself, was quite impressed with Richarlison’s second goal in particular.
The Newcastle legend wrote about the Tottenham man for the Premier League’s website: “After tucking away yet another close-range goal, he showed he can be clinical from further out too, with a magnificent finish outside the box.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Richarlison is now getting the sort of praise he deserves and the likes of Gabby Agbonlahor, who were scathing in their criticism of the 26-year-old until a month ago, seem to have gone awfully quiet over the last few weeks.
