Gold has now revealed on his YouTube channel (starting at 47:30) that some heated words were exchanged in the changing room at half-time.

The journalist stated that ‘what surprised a few people’ is that Skipp was one of those players who was quite vocal in his criticism, with the 22-year-old alleged to have had a ‘proper pop’ at some players.

Gold suggested that it is evidence that the young midfielder is emerging as ‘big voice’ in the Tottenham dressing room.
