Football. London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that many at Tottenham are now extremely excited about the kind of young squad that the club are now building, with Lucas Bergvall being the latest starlet to be added to the list.
Tottenham saw off competition from Barcelona to land Bergvall on transfer deadline day, with reports indicating that the Lilywhites swooped in the final hours to offer more money than the Catalan giants and also promise the teenager a first-team role, thus convincing the player to move to North London (Matteo Moretto).
Gold has now explained that Spurs have been monitoring the 18-year-old for quite a while, with the club’s technical director Johan Lange pushing strongly for the signing.
