Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that new contenders are continuing to emerge for the managerial vacancy at Spurs.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier this week on the Here We Go Podcast that Tottenham have narrowed down their shortlist to three candidates.
The Italian insisted that the North London club could make an appointment within a matter of days after speaking with all three candidates.
However, Gold revealed in the most recent video on his YouTube Channel that while the club were initially hoping to make an appointment before the end of the season, the talks have been delayed due to a number of reasons.
The journalist has now asserted that new candidates are making their interest in the role known and are emerging as ‘strong’ contenders.
He also stated that Tottenham want to speak to candidates face to face rather than over Zoom.
Gold explains that the club would only be able to do so when the managers, who are currently employed, are out of their club bubbles at the end of the season.
