Alasdair Gold reveals Harry Kane’s expected plans for the majority of next week

Alasdair Gold has revealed that Harry Kane is expected to remain at The Lodge which is adjacent to Hotspur Way for the majority of next week.

Kane is under isolation until Thursday following his recent holiday and will remain on-site at the club’s training base.

The Lodge was completed in 2018 and includes a 40-bedroom, two floor, purpose-built crescent building which contains a communal garden area, equipped with a fire pit.

The 28-year-old will have access to his own training pitch which is specially set aside for those who are staying at The Lodge and will train on his own until his quarantine period ends.

Gold admitted that Kane is unlikely at this stage to face Manchester City next Sunday given the circumstances.

The England captain has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League champions and is expected to be fined for his absence from training between Monday and Friday (Sky Sports).

By isolating at The Lodge, Kane is able to train on a dedicated pitch there in line with government guidelines; with the pitch essentially being accessed as a person would enter their garden.
