Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has claimed that Gareth Bale is loving life at Tottenham Hotspur, despite struggling to get regular game time under his belt since his return to the club.
Bale has started only one Premier League game since his return to Tottenham but Jose Mourinho has continued to back the Welshman in public after insisting in his press conference on Friday that it was always going to take the winger time to get back to his best after his lack of matches over the last two years.
However, the 31-year-old was once again an unused substitute yesterday when Tottenham beat Sheffield United 3-1.
Some reports have suggested that the Tottenham boss has issued a warning to Bale privately that he has to improve his performances if he does not want to return to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
Gold has now claimed that Bale is enjoying life back at Spurs and that many inside the club say that the Real Madrid loanee is mischievous and like an excitable child at times at the Hotspur Way training ground.
He further adds that Tottenham has always remained close to the Welsh international’s heart and he is keen to give his all for the club.

While Bale has not reached the level many of us would have hoped for, it is foolish to write him off just yet. If he gets a run in the side and a chance to build some momentum, I can see him making a big contribution in the second half of the season. All he needs is a couple of goals to build his confidence.
