Alasdair Gold reveals how Spurs are expected to react to Kane playing hardball

Alasdair Gold from Football London has reported that Tottenham will only strengthen their resolve this summer if Harry Kane tries to play hardball.

The journalist revealed that any slim chance of the England captain getting his move to Man City could be dashed by him intensifying his attempts to force through such a transfer.

This comes after Sky Sports reported this morning that Kane had not turned up for training, despite being expected to do so.

The Telegraph have since reported that Kane is staying away from Hotspur Way until he receives word over whether or not Tottenham will sell him this summer.

Kane is reportedly now making it clear to Daniel Levy and co that he is ready to play hardball and will do everything he can to secure a Man City transfer.

However, if Alasdair Gold is to be believed, it appears that such a decision could cost Kane that very move this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I just don’t see Kane moving this summer unless Spurs get £150m before the season starts and Man City surely don’t have that kind of money to throw around. This could get messy but, unfortunately for Kane, it won’t end well if he doesn’t even have a buyer lined up.
