Alasdair Gold has denied suggestions that Manor Solomon will have his medical at Hotspur Way today.
All indications now point to Solomon being the third new face to arrive at Tottenham this summer following the signings of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison.
Reports indicate that the winger is set to sign for the North London club as a free agent despite being contracted to Shaktater Donetsk until December after FIFA ruled that all foreign players based in Ukraine or Russia would be able to suspend their contracts again for a further year.
Manor Solomon’s medical at Tottenham
It was Fabrizio Romano who first broke the news on Sunday that Solomon had agreed personal terms with Tottenham ahead of a potential switch to N17 and the journalist took to social media on Tuesday to state that the Israeli international’s medical has been scheduled for Thursday.

However, Alasdair Gold has now revealed on Meta’s new Threads social media platform that a medical for the winger is not planned for today.
He wrote: “For those asking, Manor Solomon‘s medical at Spurs currently is not planned for today.”
Solomon scored 22 goals in 106 appearances for Shakhtar before moving to Fulham on loan last season where he played 24 times in all competitions in an injury-hit campaign (transfermarkt).
Spurs Web Opinion
This seems to simply be a case of the medical being rescheduled as all signs indicate that an agreement has been reached between Solomon and Tottenham. However, given what has transpired over the years with the likes of Willian, some Spurs fans might be nervous until we see an image of the 23-year-old holding up a Tottenham shirt.
