Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have made it clear that they have no intention of selling Will Lankshear, who is attracting quite a bit of interest this summer.

Although Lankshear is yet to make his senior debut for Spurs, there is quite a lot of excitement at Hotspur Way about the striker’s potential.
The centre-forward netted 25 goals in 26 matches across all competitions last season, playing a vital role in taking Tottenham’s Under-21 side to the Premier League 2 title.
It was reported by London World on Wednesday that Middlesbrough had already made contact with Tottenham to ask about the striker’s availability.
The outlet explained that the 19-year-old is also attracting interest from other EFL clubs as well as from across the continent and it was suggested that a permanent sale has not been ruled out by Tottenham.

Tottenham will not sell Will Lankshear this summer
However, this claim has now been contradicted by Gold, who has revealed that Ange Postecoglou’s men will not consider selling Lankshear.
He also adds that Middlesbrough and a number of other clubs are interested in signing the centre-forward on loan for the upcoming season.
However, the journalist explains that the teenager will train with the Spurs first-team in the early weeks of pre-season before a decision is made on his future.

It would not surprise me if Ange decides to keep the likes of Lankshear, Donley, Devine and Phillips at the club for the first half of the season so that they can get some minutes in the Europa League before sending them out on loan in January.
It’s about time Tottenham actually offered a consistent path from academy to regular first-team football.
