Tottenham Hotspur have turned down multiple offers for Will Lankshear as the Lilywhites contemplate the next step for the young striker.
Lankshear enjoyed a breakout season on loan at Oxford United, scoring 14 goals and registering four assists across all competitions after a difficult start to his spell at the Championship club.
The Spurs youngster picked up Oxford’s Young Player of the Year award and won the club’s Golden Boot, and his impressive performances have not gone unnoticed across the top-flight.
The Tottenham striker is attracting interest from Premier League clubs, but Roberto De Zerbi may have other plans for the 21-year-old.

Will Lankshear may be set for a first-team role at Tottenham next season
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has now confirmed that the North Londoners are looking to add a new striker to their squad, with Richarlison expected to depart the club this summer.
The journalist suggests that there is a chance that De Zerbi may prefer a young striker to serve as third choice next season, with Lankshear and Mason Melia the main contenders for the role.
However, there is also a lot of loan interest in the 21-year-old centre-forward on the back of his exploits in the Championship last season.
Gold says a top-flight loan for Lankshear cannot be ruled out this summer as the youngster remains keen on playing regularly and continuing his development.
Spurs have turned down permanent offers for Lankshear
Gold adds that Tottenham have already sent back several permanent offers for their academy graduate in the early part of the summer window.
He explains that it would take ‘a hefty fee’ to prise Lankshear away from Hotspur Way this summer, and if such an offer does not arrive, the youngster could head out on loan again.
Gold reveals that Lankshear is currently taking specialised sessions with UEFA-licensed striker coach Scott Chickelday in Spain, as he prepares to catch De Zerbi’s eye in pre-season.
