Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur will look to offload Djed Spence on a permanent basis this summer.

Spence’s loan spell at Genoa came to an end over the weekend after the club ended their campaign with a 2-0 home win against Bologna, with the Tottenham man getting around half an hour under his belt after coming on as a substitute.
The spell at at the Serie A side has been relatively successful for the right-back who while not quite establishing himself as a regular in the starting eleven, played a key part for the club since his switch.
The 23-year-old played a total of 16 matches in the league for Alberto Gilardino’s men and got 851 minutes of football under his belt, delivering some impressive displays (Transfermarkt).

Djed Spence looks set to leave Tottenham
The right-back will now return to Hotspur Way after the end of his loan spell at Genoa but according to Gold, he might not stay in North London for too long.
The journalist believes that the former Middlesbrough youngster might have already played his final game for Spurs.
He asserted that the right-back’s future lies away from the Lilywhites and that Ange Postecoglou’s men will be looking to find a permanent move for the player.

I would not be surprised if Spence is sold even before the start of pre-season as Postecoglou appears to have made up his mind about the Englishman.
Hopefully, Tottenham will offer the right-back to Genoa as part of a potential deal to sign Albert Gudmundsson.
