Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Harry Kane will isolate in The Lodge at Hotspur Way when he returns to training today.
Kane was expected back at the training ground following his summer break on Monday but the striker did not show up in an alleged attempt to put pressure on the club to sell him to Manchester City.
Reports over the last few days indicated that the England captain was in Florida, with Tottenham refusing to comment on the matter.
The 28-year-old broke his silence on Friday evening, claiming he had never refused to train. The striker added he was hurt to see Spurs fans questioning his professionalism and declared he was always scheduled to return today.
Gold has confirmed that Kane will indeed be back at the training ground today for the first time. The journalist revealed the striker will be serving his isolation period at The Lodge and would be training on his own on a private pitch.

I doubt whether either Spurs or Kane will clear up the reason behind the striker’s no-show over the past five days. It suits both parties to maintain publicly that it was simply a misunderstanding.
