Alasdair Gold reveals update on when Spurs hope to sign new head coach by

Alasdair Gold has revealed on his YouTube channel that Tottenham still hope to appoint a new head coach before the end of the current season.

The Lilywhites have just four games left in the Premier League before attention will turn to the European Championships for many of their stars.

Ryan Mason is set to be in charge for the remainder of the campaign, having been named interim head coach after Jose Mourinho was sacked last month.

The Special One lasted just 17 months at the helm of the North London club before a string of poor results in the Premier League and Europa League cost him his job.

However, while Tottenham and Daniel Levy search for his replacement, Mourinho has already managed to line up a new job for himself, weeks after he was fired. The Portuguese manager will take charge of Roma for the 2021/22 season.

Alasdair Gold has claimed that Spurs remain on the hunt for their next head coach and there is still real hope they will be announced within the coming weeks.

The Atheltic have also reported that Tottenham have not yet offered the role to anyone and have, therefore, not been turned down by anyone either.
