Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Lucas Bergvall made a great first impression when he arrived at Hotspur Way to sign for the club, with many at the club impressed by the youngster’s personality.
Bergvall is the latest in a long line of talented young prodigies that Spurs have signed over the last couple of years.
Those at the North London club will be hoping that the Swede follows in the footsteps of the likes of Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr by becoming a key first-team star in the years to come.
The 18-year-old will spend the remainder of the season at Djurgarden before linking up with his new Spurs teammates ahead of next season.
In his first interview with Tottenham’s official channel, the teenager admitted that it is a dream come true to sign for a big Premier League side. He described Ange Postecoglou’s side as a ‘young and hungry team’ and added that he cannot wait to get started at the club in the summer.

First impressions of Bergvall were positive at Spurs
Gold has revealed that the staff at Tottneham’s training ground were quite impressed with the midfielder when they met him.
The journalist says that the Sweden international made an ‘instant impact’ and ‘charmed the staff around the building’ when he arrived last week.
He added that many at Spurs felt Bergvall possessed the ‘confidence and maturity’ of someone far older.
