Football London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Harry Kane is due back for the first day of his Tottenham pre-season on Wednesday.
Spurs fly out to Australia in the next week to kickstart their pre-season tour under Ange Postecoglou, but the annual Harry Kane saga once again hangs over the squad.

This comes after Florian Plettenberg reported today that Bayern Munich had submitted a second offer of €80m plus add-ons for Harry Kane, after their initial offer of €10m less than that was turned down.
The journalist added that Kane himself ‘definitely’ wants to join the German giants this summer, with one year left on his current Spurs contract.
New Spurs contract or Bayern Munich transfer
The Guardian also reported this week that Tottenham have a huge new contract offer waiting for Kane when he arrives back for pre-season, significantly improving on his current £200,000 per week.
However, the England captain is said to be in no rush and will not sign anything during the transfer window as he wants to keep all options open.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I am sure we will get more clarity on the situation once Kane returns for pre-season.
It really could go either way and much of the decision will hinge on his conversation with Postecoglou, and whether or not he is even open to signing a new deal.
