Alasdair Gold reveals which four academy stars trained with first team today

Alasdair Gold has revealed that academy stars Dilan Markanday, Jack Clarke, Nile John and Harvey White all took part in Tottenham’s first-team training session at Hotspur Way today ahead of the side’s Europa Conference League fixture against Vitesse.

Spurs are gearing up for Thursday’s European clash in the Netherlands on the back of a win against Newcastle United on the side’s return to action following the international break.

A host of key players who featured in the 3-2 win on Tyneside were not spotted on the training pitches at the Hotspur Way training centre, as Nuno Espirito Santo seeks to manage the workload throughout his squad.

Gold has since revealed that a number of the club’s academy products have been involved in training ahead of the meeting with Vitesse, which suggests Nuno may be planning to include some of them for the European clash.

Markanday, Clarke, John and White are set to be battling it out for first-team minutes and they could look to achieve that in tomorrow’s fixture against the side currently sixth in the Eredivisie.
