‘All the best big man’ – Players past and present congratulate new Spurs signing

Tottenham Hotspur completed their second signing of the summer yesterday afternoon following the arrival of Joe Hart.

Hart has signed a two-year deal with Spurs after leaving Burnley as a free agent when his contract expired on 30 June.

He will now he will compete with Paulo Gazzaniga to become Hugo Lloris’ deputy in North London.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram to express his delight at the move and was met with replies from the likes of Eric Dier, who he has played alongside for England and will now share the dressing room at club level.

Team mates from previous clubs have also chipped in to wish the goalkeeper well including Raheem Sterling, Edin Dzeko, Adrian, John Terry and Jose Fonte.

Hart won the Premier League title twice, the League Cup twice and one FA Cup during his time at Manchester City, but has struggled for form and regular first-team action in recent years but is now looking forward to getting his career back on track at Tottenham.
