All you need to know about rumoured Spurs target Patrick Cutrone

Tottenham are reported to be interested in adding a striker to the squad in the summer with Fernando Llorente’s contract with the club running out at the end of the season and Vincent Janssen still to re-appear following his inclusion back into the first team.

Based on the rumoured targets Spurs have been linked with so far, it appears Pochettino is looking for a young striker who has room to develop, and someone who wouldn’t mind playing second fiddle to Harry Kane.

The latest striker to be linked with the club is AC Milan youngster Patrick Cutrone. (Source: Tuttomercatoweb)

Here’s all that you need to know about the forward.

Full Name: Patrick Cutrone

Age: 21

Club: AC Milan

Nationality: Italy

Position: Striker

Playing Style: Patrick Cutrone is an all-round number 9 who is a massive presence inside the box. Even though he is not the biggest of strikers, he uses his body well to hold defenders off and bring others into play. He is an all-action type number 9 who keeps making runs in behind, and always gives the defenders a battle.

Strengths: Movement, physical strength

Weaknesses: Lack of composure, not clinical

Career Highlight: Cutrone burst onto the scene at Milan last season, and caught people’s attention netting 18 goals for the club in his first full Serie A season. He has continued from where he left off this year, having netted 9 goals so far this season.

Rumor rating: C-

It is suggested that the 21-year-old is frustrated with a lack of game time at Milan and is open to offers in the summer. If regular game time is what the youngster is after, then a move to Spurs wouldn’t make a lot of sense as he would be behind Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min in the pecking order.
