Fabrizio Romano has taken to social media to reveal that negotiations between Tottenham and Genoa for Radu Dragusin are now well underway.
It was Romano who first broke the news on Sunday that Spurs had agreed personal terms with Dragusin ahead of a potential switch to North London.
Football Insider subsequently reported on Monday that the Lilywhites are in regular contact over a deal for the Genoa star and had explored various methods of securing his signature, including a loan-to-buy and a permanent deal.
Contacts advance between Spurs and Genoa
Romano has now provided another update on the matter, revealing that the Premier League side and the Serie A club are now locked in negotiations for the centre-back.
He suggested that contacts are now advancing between the two sides and that Tottenham are confident of getting a deal for Dragusin over the line.
Finally, explains that there has not been much change in Spurs’ pursuit of Jean Clair-Todibo, which is now thought to be on the verge of collapsing.

Given that Genoa’s asking price is thought to be a modest £26m, one would not expect Tottenham to take too long to complete this deal. It looks like we might see Dragusin holding up a Spurs shirt by the end of this week.
