“Amazing” – Former Spurs midfielder reacts to emotional moment after yesterday’s win

Tottenham thrashed Huddersfield 4-0 at their new stadium yesterday to put themselves in a commanding position in the race for the top 4.

Pochettino made as many as seven changes to the side that took the field against Manchester City on Tuesday but that certainly didn’t seem to affect Spurs’ performance.

Those who came into the team performed brilliantly and staked their claims for a starting spot in the return leg at the Etihad on Wednesday.

Tottenham’s strikers, in particular, were a menace for the Huddersfield defence throughout the ninety minutes, with Lucas Moura stealing the limelight with a brilliantly taken hat-trick.

After going down in the history books as being the first person to score a hat-trick at the new stadium, the 26-year-old celebrated the achievement by kicking the ball around with his one and a half-year-old son on the pitch.

It was certainly a beautiful moment that the fans certainly enjoyed.

However, some opposition fans on social media accused Moura of over-celebrating, a claim that former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason certainly didn’t agree with.

Mason took to social media to convey his delight at Moura’s celebrating with his son.
