Tottenham Hotspur completed their first new stadium test event with overwhelming success yesterday, as their under 18s side beat Southampton 3-1.
The fans were overwhelmed by the new 62,000 plus seat ground that will be the club’s new home for generations to come.
The club have also arranged a second test event for this weekend coming, as 45,000 fans will take their seats to watch a Tottenham legends match against Inter Milan legends.
Some big names have already been confirmed, including Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Rafa Van Der Vaart, Jermaine Jenas, Jurgen Klinsmann and more.
However, a new rumoured guest of honour has been released by the Evening Standard today, as Glenn Hoddle is likely to make an appearance at the stadium.
The ex-Spurs star recently returned to work after undergoing life-saving surgery on his heart in November, following at collapse on duty for BT Sport.
The 61-year-old won two FA Cups and the UEFA Cup with Tottenham and would be extremely well-received by the fans.
