Amazon documentary gives first glimpse of what a Hugo Lloris team talk is like

For those who are not looking for ‘All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur’ spoilers from the upcoming episodes of the Amazon documentary, look away now.

Episode five of Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur’ documentary, which was released on Prime Video last night, finally revealed what a Hugo Lloris team talk is like.

Up until this point, with Lloris having suffered a long-term injury before Jose Mourinho’s arrival at the club, the team talks in the documentary had been conducted by either Mourinho himself or vice-captain Harry Kane.

However, having been with Tottenham for eight seasons, and serving as captain for much of that time, Hugo Lloris has far more experience leading the Spurs dressing room.

Having made a return from injury three weeks early, Lloris was reinstated to the starting XI against Norwich City in February, his first match playing under Mourinho.

In the dressing room before the match, Lloris could be seen giving a passionate war cry to his Spurs teammates ahead of the Premier League clash, a game the Lilywhites won 2-1.

Lloris said (All or Nothing – Episode 5 – 24 minute): “Come on guys, we are still alive in the league, but it’s up to us now. Hey, come on guys, let’s do the job. Aggressive from the start. 90, 95 minutes, it’s in the mind, now focus! Come one! Let’s go!”

Later, ahead of the huge match against Man City, Lloris said (All or Nothing – Episode 5 – 38 minute): “Hey, come on guys! Enjoy the game! Enjoy to compete, guys. We all want to win this game and we’re going to show it. Now come on! Let’s go! Come on!”
