Amazon reveals Mourinho and Kane’s potty-mouth team-talks before West Ham away

When Jose Mourinho took over as Tottenham head coach back in November 2019, he was afforded little time before being thrown into the deep end in the Premier League.

Just days after he was announced as the new boss, replacing the sacked Mauricio Pochettino, Mourinho faced a fierce London Derby away at West Ham United.

At this point, Spurs had been without a win in ten months in the Premier League, piling yet more pressure onto an already heavy weight of expectation for The Special One.

However, within just 50 minutes of the match, Tottenham took a 3-0 lead, with all three of Mourinho’s attacking selections in Heung-min Son, Lucas Moura, and Harry Kane finding the back of the net.

A late flurry from West Ham certainly set the nerves racing for Spurs fans, but the Lilywhites saw out a 3-2 away victory and picked up those crucial three points.

Amazon Prime’s ‘All or Nothing’ documentary, which was released last night, has now revealed Mourinho and Kane’s pep talks ahead of the match.

While many associate Mourinho with his potty-mouth, some may not have expected it from the England captain (All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur – Episode 1 – 44mins).

Jose: “Come on. Nothing that can happen in the game can affect your confidence, nothing! You are confident, you finish confident. Nothing that can happen in the game can f**k your confidence, nothing! Nothing!”

Kane: “Okay lads. Clean slate, f**king win this game and we go on a f**king good run, and let’s f**king perform!”
