Tottenham Hotspur have reached new lows under Ange Postecoglou this season, the Australian will want to learn about the latest unwanted record that he has now set following his side’s 1-0 loss to Stamford Bridge.
While the discussions after the game have understandably revolved around Postecoglou’s controversial gesture to the Spurs fans, the lacklustre performance that his side delivered will be causing alarm bells at Hotspur Way.
It was the kind of toothless away display that we have come to expect from the side over the past two seasons and is not ideal heading into a huge Europa League quarterfinal against Eintracht Frankfurt next week.
Many Tottenham fans are already at the end of their patience with Postecoglou, and their frustrations with the 59-year-old will only grow when they hear the latest unfortunate record that he has now set.

Ange Postecoglou sets unwanted Tottenham record
The Australian had lost all three of his previous Premier League meetings with Chelsea heading into Thursday’s clash at West London.
According to talkSPORT, the 1-0 loss at Stamford Bridge means that he has now become the first-ever Tottenham boss to lose each of his first four league games against the Blues.
This means that Chelsea are now the only side that Postecoglou is yet to take a point against during his time in charge of the Lilywhites.
This sort of poor record against a fierce London rival will do little to improve his popularity with the Tottenham faithful, many of whom have already given up on the former Celtic boss.
Ange Postecoglou determined to fight on at Spurs
While things may be going from bad to worse for the Australian at the moment, he is certainly not throwing in the towel, especially given that Tottenham still have a chance of going all the way in the Europa League.
After the 1-0 loss to Chelsea, Postecoglou acknowledged that he might be alienating the fans, but said that he is not bothered about the fact that his decisions are getting booed.
The Tottenham boss added that the supporters have the right to express themselves and he insisted that his focus remains purely on improving the side’s performances.
