Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has shed light on the return dates for both Kevin Danso and Richarlison, offering Spurs fans some much-needed clarity on the duo’s availability.
Tottenham Hotspur’s injury crisis has eased in recent weeks, and in fairness, it has been a significant improvement.
At one stage, Postecoglou was dealing with an entire starting eleven on the treatment table, but now only a handful remain sidelined.
It has been confirmed that Radu Dragusin will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury, a devastating blow for the Romanian defender.
Meanwhile, Dejan Kulusevski is also unavailable as he continues to recover from a foot injury. While these setbacks remain frustrating, Spurs’ squad depth has allowed them to cope in recent matches.

Kevin Danso and Richarlison could be back soon for Tottenham
Reports emerged earlier today suggesting that Kevin Danso is dealing with a hamstring issue. Danso’s injury has now been officially confirmed by Postecoglou and the Austrian national team.
Of course, Richarlison too has been absent, with the Brazilian forward missing Tottenham’s last seven matches. His absence has been keenly felt.
Speaking ahead of their upcoming clash against AZ Alkmaar, Postecoglou provided a much-needed update.
According to Alasdair Gold of football.london, the manager has indicated that both Danso and Richarlison are expected to return after the international break. This will be a significant boost for Spurs as they head into the business end of the campaign.
The international break comes at the right time for Spurs
The timing of the international break could not be better for Tottenham. With the exception of Dragusin, all of Spurs’ injured stars are expected to be back in contention once club football resumes.
This means they will not miss any key matches, which is crucial given the club’s aspirations for the remainder of the season.
However, while the break provides a welcome opportunity for players to recover, it could also feel like an agonising wait should Spurs fail to beat AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
A poor result would leave fans stewing for weeks, rather than looking ahead with optimism. For now, though, the prospect of key reinforcements returning remains a major positive for Postecoglou’s side.
