A trip to Palace for Spurs

Tottenham find themselves in good form after the international break, after registering a huge 4-1 win over London rivals West Ham last weekend.

The Lilywhites then hosted AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League last night, and came away with a 1-0 win to continue their unbeaten run in the competition.

Up next is a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace. With Oliver Glasner’s side struggling in the Premier League so far, many expect Spurs to register another win and keep their momentum going.

So far this season, the Spurs injury list has not been too severe, and Ange Postecoglou has been able to call upon a near-full squad recently.

But, with Heung-min Son and Djed Spence sitting out the Europa League clash with Alkmaar, Postecoglou has some updates for us ahead of the Palace game.

Speaking to the press (via Football.London), Postecoglou said: “Sonny still not right or feeling 100 per cent. He won’t train today and unlikely for the weekend”

On Spence, he added: “He’s getting closer, hopefully, next week he’ll be joining up with training.”
